TCU’s Jordan Westendorff and Brooke Sassin were victorious over Heather Pembroke and Macy Gordon 18-21, 21-19, 15-8 for the Horned Frogs’ only victory in the battle. Meanwhile, Molly Scheel and Jensyn Bledsoe lost a close decision to Cal Poly’s Adlee Van Winden and Taylor Nelson 22-20, 21-17.In the matchup against Arizona, the combo of Scheel and Bledsoe defeated the Wildcats’ Mia Mason and Makenna Martin 21-13, 21-19. TCU’s Cassie House and Haven Hill lost a nail-biting decision to Olivia Hallaran and Kacey Nady 21-18, 20-22, 9-15.The Horned Frogs will travel to Columbia, South Carolina to compete in the Gamecock Challenge Saturday and Sunday against Florida Gulf Coast, Alabama-Birmingham, South Carolina and UNC-Wilmington.
