Blue Ridge School District to go remote for week

Instructional staff will return on Friday, Oct. 16, for an in-service day. The school voted back in September to begin in-person learning on Oct. 19, a move away from the school’s previous hybrid model. On the school district’s website, officials say the school received a notice from the department of health of its third confirmed positive COVID-19 case at the school. This was the school’s third positive case in a 14-day period. As a result of the cases, the school will be closed for five to seven days, and will resume in-person learning on Monday, Oct. 19.
