Oppo launches all-metal midrange A59 phone with 3GB RAM


first_imgChinese company Oppo has launched an all new midrange smartphone, called the A59 in China. The all-metal smartphone will be available for buying from June 18 in China at a price of 1,799 Yuan (roughly Rs 18,306) with no word on its global availability and pricing yet. The Oppo A59 will be available in the colours Gold and Rose Gold.The A59 comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 1280×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is further expandable via microSD card.The 4G LTE capable smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based ColorOS 3.0 UI.The A59 sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is backed by a 3,075mAh battery. It comes with a front mounted fingerprint scanner that Oppo claims can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds. It has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture) on the rear with LED flash and phase detection autofocus.The 4G LTE-capable F1 Plus runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based ColorOS 3.0 UI out-of-the-box and supports Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge technology.It has a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED display and is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card.
