first_imgSmriti Mandhana played her career-best Twenty20 International knock of 83 runs against the world No.1 side Australia on Saturday in India’s final group match against Australia at the Providence Stadium in Guyana and she cherished this victory.India absolutely dominated Australia and registered a crushing 48-run victory as Mandhana starred with the bat while the Indian bowlers put up a brilliant unit performance. India posted their highest-ever total against Australia in any World T20.This was Mandhana’s first fifty in 2018 and in a big match like Saturday’s, Mandhana roared back to form. She was “relieved” that she could convert the good start to a substantial score.”Quite relieved as I was getting starts but not converting them. Wanted to go out there and score big runs.
