Defensive back Tre Norwood, who suffered an injury earlier in the week, is out for the season.Norwood reportedly suffered a non-contact injury to his knee at Monday’s practice. He was expected to start at nickelback this season for the Sooners.Norwood started all 14 games for Oklahoma a year ago. Losing him for the season is a huge blow to a team that needs to keep up on defense to contend for another College Football Playoff appearance.Norwood is heading into his junior season with the team. He should still have two years of eligibility when he returns.
