Asifabad Officials told to focus on their targets

first_imgAsifabad: Complete the construction of individual sanitary latrines (ISL) before the end of July, District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu directed the district officials and special officers at a review meeting on Haritha Haram and ISLs at the Collector’s conference hall here on Tuesday.Speaking on the occasion, the Collector instructed the special officers to focus on the works in their respective mandals and to clear all pending works before the end of July. In Asifabad district, out of the total 53,930 ISLs, 39,307 were constructed so far and 14,602 are pending, he said. They were also told to geotag each and every sapling and to appoint Vana Sevakulu in each village. He directed the Panchayat secretaries to find unemployed youth to appoint as Vana Sevakulu and the government will pay Rs 5 to each plant.
